NEWBRIDGE GREYHOUND STADIUM

This site is not an official website for the track shown here and is neither approved or endorsed by the stadium. I am indebted to Richard English for helping to construct this page.

The greyhound track in the Irish town of Newbridge was situated at 6° 47' W 53° 10' N and raced independently for some 20 years. It opened in 1948 but finally closed its gates in 1968. It was to be 3 years before another track in the town, racing under rules, opened in 1971 and was situated at 6° 49' W 53° 11' N.

Ratings are between 0 and 100, where 100 is an extremely fast time and reflects the speed of the track, tightness of the circuit and quality of greyhound visiting the tracks.
